Based in Anacortes, WA, Dihedral Builders is a growing family of construction professionals who are dedicated to their craft. From the office personnel to crews in the field, our goal is to provide our customers with an exceptional experience through our attention to the details - construction details, communication details, and budget details.
Meet the team
Chad Gailey
Owner
Chad Gailey, owner of Dihedral Builders grew up around construction and displayed a knack for the trades from a young age. After serving in the Coast Guard in Washington and Alaska, Chad earned an undergraduate degree in Biology and went on to study Occupational Therapy in graduate school. It was during grad school in Anchorage Alaska that Chad started his first construction company, and upon re-location to his home state, he decided that he was better suited to building than rehabilitation.
Chad is passionate about building and raising the standard for builders. His thirst for knowledge leads him learn the “whys” of building rather than just accepting the “hows”, looking at the industry as science as much as a trade. While his time is now mostly spent driving a truck or a desk, Chad is a skilled craftsman, not just a paper pusher, and can still put his bags on and get the job done.
When not at work, Chad enjoys skiing, rock climbing, hiking, camping, traveling and fitness. He calls Anacortes home with his wife, 4 children, 2 dogs, 3 birds, and a cat.
Hans Grovdahl
Superintendent, Lead Carpenter
Hans is a third generation carpenter was born and raised in Oak Harbor, on Whidbey Island. He has worked in all phases of construction over his career, including custom cabinet manufacturing, and provides a rarely found depth and breadth of construction knowledge to the team. He has a passion for carpentry…so much so that his hobbies mostly center around carpentry and wood-working. Hans take great pride in the quality of work he does which is evident in the product he produces.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son or combing the internet for the next cool tool or funny t-shirt to add to his collection!
Anyelina Peterson
Office manager and Bookkeeper
Anyelina, originally from the Dominican Republic, has managed medical practices in California, coffee export companies in the DR, and and is now translating her expertise to the construction field. She is supremely well organized, which allows the rest of us to focus on producing top quality projects. When not working, Anyelina enjoys cooking, spending time with her husband, daughter and extended family, as well as exploring our beautiful state.
